Former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) claims President Joe Biden once took him to see the White House pool in the winter.
McCarthy spoke to Fox News’ Jesse Watters on Wednesday night about the president. He claimed Biden was so reliant on note cards during meetings that when he would be interrupted it would throw him off and Vice President Kamala Harris would have to start talking.
“He has to read from them, and once he starts reading, I was interjecting. And then he didn’t know what to do and he would stumble. And then he would close it and just stop. And then Kamala would have to start talking, so it was a play I used every time,” McCarthy said.
He went on:
“There was one time… he’s taking us on a tour, then all of a sudden he goes, ‘Do you want to go out to the pool?’ And then Jill’s on the other side of the table, I think she went, ‘No! They don’t want to go out.’ He goes, ‘You don’t want to go out?’ Then he opens the door — it’s winter time — and he walks us down to the swimming pool into the changing room.”

McCarthy went on to share another moment he found strange from the tour, “Then we walk back up, and he’s created this little room outside the Oval Office to be a little office for him. Now, President Trump had it as a gift shop, Clinton used it for something else… but he’s made it a little office for himself like 10 feet away from the Oval Office, why?!”
He shared the room has “a little desk” and he saw a wrinkled blue dress shirt and asked, “When does the president take his shirt off in there?”
