As the clock ticks down to the November election, former President Donald Trump has just what voters need — a watch.
The Republican presidential nominee started backing watches branded with his name Thursday, per NBC News.
“You’re going to love them. Would make a great Christmas Gift. Don’t wait, they will go fast,” Trump posted on Truth Social and provided a link to the vendor’s website.
One of the watches — called “Fight Fight Fight” — references the words Trump yelled after he was hit by sniper fire on July 13 in Butler, Pennsylvania.
That watch’s price ranges from $499 to $799.
The price of other watches, such as the “Trump Victory Tourbillion” go as high as $100,000.
Each Tourbillion watch has 122 diamonds and is 18 karat gold.
The number of watches available is limited.
The pitch on the website read, “Join President Trump’s Watch Community. Be a part of history.”
According to a disclaimer on the website, the vendor, TheBestWatchesonEarth LLC, “uses the ‘Trump’ name, image and likeness under a paid license agreement.”
More information was not immediately available from the Trump Organization or TheBestWatchesonEarth LLC.
Trump’s campaign referred questions about the watches to the Trump Organization.
According to the website, “Trump Watches are not designed, manufactured, distributed or sold by Donald J. Trump, The Trump Organization or any of their respective affiliates or principals.”
“Trump Watches are intended as collectible items for individual enjoyment only, not for investment purposes,” per the website. “These watches are not political and have nothing to do with any political campaign.”
It added that the watches “are not political and have nothing to do with any political campaign.”
The watches include his signature.
Ammar Moussa, a spokesman for Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign, slammed the new endeavor on X, formerly Twitter.
“Donald Trump is selling $100,000 watches. Not a joke. Trump is more focused on himself than anyone else,” Moussa posted.
Others criticized the price of the watches.
The watches are just the latest items Trump has promoted.
These include a sneaker line a NFT trading cards.
He has also promoted $60 branded Bibles in partnership with country music artist Lee Greenwood.
