The current feud between President Donald Trump and Harvard University affects many students — but Barron Trump is not one of them.

That is according to Nicholas Clemens, spokesman for first lady Melania Trump, who said the rumors were “completely false” the dispute stems from Barron Trump not being accepted into Harvard, per The Palm Beach Post.

“Barron did not apply to Harvard, and any assertion that he, or that anyone on his behalf, applied is completely false,” Clemens said.

Barron Trump is attending New York University and just finished his freshman year.

The president has alleged Harvard, as well as many other schools, aren’t protecting their Jewish students, per The Palm Beach Post, which first reported on the matter.

The Trump administration is threatening to terminate federal contracts with the university. This has led Harvard to seek legal action to restore about $3.2 billion in federal grant funding the administration has frozen, Fox News reported.

The president has taken to social media and accused Harvard of being “very antisemitic.”

“I am considering taking Three Billion Dollars of Grant Money away from a very antisemitic Harvard, and giving it to TRADE SCHOOLS all across our land. What a great investment that would be for the USA, and so badly needed!!!,” he wrote.

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem notified the university Thursday that Harvard could no longer enroll foreign students due to the school’s “refusal to comply with multiple requests to provide the Department of Homeland Security with pertinent information while perpetuating an unsafe campus environment that is hostile to Jewish students, promotes pro-Hamas sympathies, and employs racist ‘diversity, equity and inclusion’ policies.”

Judge Allison Burroughs granted Harvard a temporary restraining order on Friday. This stopped the government revoking the school’s certification in the Student and Exchange Visitor Program, which allows the university to host international students.

Trump said the government will win the fight in the end.

“Harvard is very slow in the presentation of these documents, and probably for good reason!” he wrote. “The best thing Harvard has going for it is that they have shopped around and found the absolute best Judge (for them!) – But have no fear, the Government will, in the end, WIN!”
