Texas Court Lowers Sandy Hook Damages for Jones — Aug 21, 2026The Texas Third Court of Appeals cut Alex Jones and Free Speech Systems’ damages in the Sandy Hook defamation case from $50 million to $1.5 million, ruling that a post-verdict amendment allowed damages beyond the state cap.
