Former Bank Analyst Jailed Three Years for Unlicensed Securities Activities

A Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court convicted former bank analyst Mohd Arif Fadzlee Mohd Arifin and sentenced him to three years in prison for unlicensed regulated activities and the unlawful use of the Unit Trust Consultant title in relation to dealing in securities without a CMSRL, with offences dating back to 2011 in Petaling Jaya and Nilai. The case was brought by the Securities Commission Malaysia and followed a trial during which he was bail-release before the conviction.
