After the June 24 earthquakes, Venezuela’s Maiquetía airport is gradually restarting operations with airlines restoring routes to Caracas: Air Europa resumes direct Madrid-Caracas flights five times weekly from Sept. 1, and Iberia returns with three weekly flights, while Avianca adds daily Bogotá–Caracas and a new Bogotá–Maracaibo service. American Airlines plans a Sept. 3 return Miami–Caracas, Plus Ultra maintains Valencia-based routing for now, and the airport is operating at a limited capacity with phased targets to reach higher service levels later in the year.
