Pace Digitek Pune Battery R&D Center OpenedBusiness — Jul 21, 2026Pace Digitek’s Lineage Power has established the Pace-Lineage Research Center in Pune to accelerate advanced battery technologies, including Advanced Chemistry Cells and Li-ion/Na-ion materials, in collaboration with IISER Pune to promote indigenous technology and strengthen the domestic supply chain. The program will develop coatings, microstructure tuning, new electrolytes, and material characterization while evaluating domestically sourced raw materials, aligning with Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat as the company shifts toward proprietary ACC capabilities and expanded energy storage capacity.
