Imposters at Boise Arrested in $1.3M Dating ScamSports — Aug 26, 2026Daejon Labrayae Love, posing as a San Francisco 49ers player and later as a wealthy real estate investor, used dating apps and fake investments to defraud at least 26 women out of about $1.3 million across four states, with an 18-year-old accomplice posing as his financial adviser to gain victims’ trust. They were arrested in Boise, Idaho, and charged in federal court with wire fraud and conspiracy to commit wire fraud, amid ongoing investigations into additional potential victims.
