Trident Q1 profit up 13%; board approves subsidiary

Trident Ltd posted a consolidated net profit of ₹158 crore for Q1 FY27 on revenue of ₹1,786.8 crore, marking about a 13% YoY gain as the yarn and home textiles segments supported margins around 17%. The board also approved the formation of a wholly-owned subsidiary to bolster brand-building, marketing and overseas growth.
