With concerns swirling about President Joe Biden’s age and mental fitness for the job, he is not giving his supporters much to reassure them.
On Sunday, Biden traveled to a Black church in Philadelphia with the aim of rallying support in Pennsylvania.
However, his appearance there gave some of his critics more of a reason to be concerned about his age. A video surfaced of the president sitting on stage at the church when the congregation was urged to stand and sing.
And for several seconds, Biden appeared confused about whether he should remain seated or stand as he stared off and tapped his hand on his knee.
Eventually, he stood up.

The moment comes after a disastrous debate performance by Biden, which raised fresh concerns about his age and whether he will be able to defeat former President Donald Trump in the election. Axios also reported on Sunday at least four senior House Democrats said in a call with House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) they believe Biden should step aside.
However, the president told ABC News in an interview he would only step aside if “the Lord Almighty comes down and tells me” to do so.
