Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden accidentally pushed his running mate Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) to the top of the Democratic ticket, just one day after Harris appear to similarly promote herself.
“A Harris-Biden administration is going to relaunch that effort and keep pushing it further to make it easier for military spouses and veterans to find meaningful careers, to ensure teachers know how to support military children in their classrooms and to improve support for caregivers and survivors,” Biden said during a campaign event in Tampa, Florida, on Tuesday.
He added, “So much more than we do now.”

Harris made similar comments during a virtual roundtable on Monday with a group of Arizona small business owners.
“We need to make sure you have a president in the White House who actually sees you, who understands your needs, who understands the dignity of your work, who has your back,” Harris said.
She continued, “A Harris administration together with Joe Biden as the president of the United States. The Biden-Harris administration will provide access to $100 billion in low-interest loans and investments from minority business owners.”

During a campaign rally in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, on Sept. 8, President Donald Trump launched an attack on Harris. He claimed Americans would never want her to become president, as IJR previously reported.
He told his supporters, “People don’t like her. Nobody likes her. She could never be the first woman president. She could never be. That would be an insult to our country.”
Harris told ABC News in August Trump’s repeated insults are “designed to distract” the American people.
Biden announced Harris as his running mate in August, as IJR previously reported.
Long before he revealed Harris as his choice, he vowed to choose a woman.
