Bryan Kohberger pleaded guilty Monday to all counts in the 2022 killings of four University of Idaho students, according to multiple outlets.
Kohberger was charged with four counts of first-degree murder and one count of burglary in connection to the deaths of roommates Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle and Kernodle’s boyfriend Ethan Chapin in November 2022. The 30-year-old will receive four consecutive life sentences and the maximum penalty of 10 years for burglary, avoiding the death penalty as part of a plea deal, according to ABC News.
