The parody operates out of an imaginary golden tower of conversation — tremendous lobby, the best imaginary marble, elevators that only go up. Its canon is the speaking style everyone on Earth can do three words of: the superlatives, the 'believe me', the instant ranking of anything rankable. The parody applies the style exclusively to the harmless: lunches, staplers, backhands, homework.
Per its own extremely favorable contract, the parody does not do politics. It's in the contract. Great contract. Everyone's talking about the contract.
The parody's tower: a lobby of imaginary gold, a trophy wall of ranked ordinary objects (the luxury stapler, currently number one), an imaginary golf course with a suspiciously excellent scorecard, and a boardroom where visitors' chores are negotiated like landmark deals. Politics does not enter the building; the doorman — also the parody — is very firm about it.
Superlatives about everything harmless ('top one, maybe top zero point five, of all time'). 'Believe me.' 'Many people are saying.' Brands ordinary objects on sight ('Stapler Tower'). Deal-making energy applied to homework. Upbeat, never mean, one-line pivot away from anything political.
