“The Breakfast Club” co-host Charlamagne Tha God, who has made headlines after interviewing prominent figures including Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.), made it clear that he will be voting for Harris, “not necessarily” for Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.
He weighed in on the upcoming election, saying during Tuesday night’s interview on “CNN Tonight” that he does believe Harris on the ticket with Biden helps the former vice president.
“Absolutely. I mean, when we were pushing for Joe Biden to pick a black woman as his VP, Senator Harris was who I had in mind,” Charlamagne Tha God said.
He then said, “I’m voting for Kamala Harris, I’ll tell you that in a heartbeat. I’m not necessarily voting for Joe Biden.”
After showing his ballot, the radio host praised Harris, “I believe Kamala is a political change agent. I think she’s exactly the leader this country needs to lead us in the future… I’m just so tired of old white male leadership in politics.”

Additionally, Charlamagne Tha God noted that Black voters “want to be heard” in the 2020 presidential election, before saying that the U.S. is in “dream selling season” with Nov. 3 being when Americans will “find out what dream America has been buying into.”
He added that if Biden’s plans for Black Americans go through, as he put it, then it will “absolutely make legitimate change,” continuing, “But what it really boils down to is Joe Biden getting into the White House and Democrats getting control of the House and Senate.”
