Country singer Jason Aldean and his wife Brittany Aldean dressed up for Halloween to mock the “woke.”
The couple dressed up as fictional characters and anchors of a news program Ron Burgundy and Veronica Corningstone.
Opening the video, Jason Aldean said, “Good evening Nash Vegas and welcome to Channel 4 News.”
Jason Aldean introduced himself and his wife as their characters.
“And we are here to bring you the news as always cause you know we are 80% of the time unbiased 100% of the time,” he continued.
The first story they covered on their mock news show was how singer Luke Bryan drove “all the country girls crazy by eating out of a jar of peanut butter.”
Brittany, as Corningstone, reported on their next story.
“In our most unbiased story of the evening, tonight we tell a tale of a wannabe country artist and his wife, Brittany and Jason Aldean,” she said.
Making fun of herself, Brittany Aldean added, “According to Brittany’s recent tweet she hates all animals. Based on the tweet that says, I love dogs. Sounds like a PR nightmare.”

Brittany Aldean went on to tell the audience, if they Google the couple, they could “potentially find them on page five or six.”
Her husband, as Burgundy, replied, “I actually found them on page 13, her and her bush-league country music artist of a husband just need to zip it.”
Concluding their broadcast, Jason Aldean said, “Stay country Nashville.”
Brittany Aldean sent her message to the audience, telling them to “stay woke.”
They then went back and forth repeating their remarks.
As the credits rolled, the couple directed fake insults at each other.
The country star’s wife received backlash over the summer after she made a joke about gender transitioning.
“I’d really like to thank my parents for not changing my gender when I went through my tomboy phase. I love this girly life,” Brittany Aldean said at the time.
In September, Jason Aldean’s public relations firm of 17 years cut ties with him following the criticism.
