Maye Musk, the mother of Tesla CEO Elon Musk, took a swipe at President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris for failing to recognize her son’s latest achievement.
She shared a tweet issued by SpaceX, saying, “Falcon 9 delivered 40 spacecraft to orbit on SpaceX’s fourth dedicated rideshare mission and our 150th successful launch!”
Maye Musk replied, “Sharing this remarkable achievement with [Joe Biden] [POTUS] [VP] [KamalaHarris] who are completely unaware of the world’s most advanced rockets and spacecraft. [SpaceX] [MadeInAmerica] [JustSaySpacex].”

Elon Musk previously criticized Biden for refusing to acknowledge Tesla’s achievements.
“Ford is investing $11 billion to build electric vehicles, creating 11,000 jobs across the country. GM is making the largest investment in its history—$7 billion to build electric vehicles, creating 4,000 jobs in Michigan,” Biden said during his State of the Union address.
The CEO responded in a tweet, saying, “Tesla has created over 50,000 US jobs building electric vehicles and is investing more than double GM + Ford combined.”
Additionally, Elon Musk told CNBC Biden “has pointedly ignored Tesla at every turn and falsely stated to the public that GM leads the electric car industry.”
He continued, “Tesla produced over 300,000 electric vehicles last quarter, and GM produced 26.”
In September 2021, Elon Musk accused Biden of being biased against his company.
“Biden held this EV summit — didn’t invite Tesla. Invited GM, Ford, Chrysler, and UAW [United Auto Workers Union]. An EV summit at the White House. Didn’t mention Tesla once, and praised GM and Ford for leading the EV revolution,” he said.
According to Elon Musk, the Biden administration is a “little biased or something … just not the friendliest administration.”
He added, “Seems to be controlled by unions.”
As The New York Post noted, a reporter asked White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki if Tesla was not invited to the summit because the company’s employees were not unionized.
“These are the three largest employers of the United Auto Workers,” Psaki said.
She added, “So I’ll let you draw your own conclusion.”
