Iranian leaders have President Donald Trump’s “blood” in their sights

The leader a have also vowed to take action over the “atrocity” of Operation Epic Fury, per The Hill.

Ayatollah Abdollah Javadi Amoli said on state television Iran was looking to shed “Trump’s blood, per The Associated Press.

American forces have led assaults on land and water, resulting in more than 1,000 Iranian casualties, per the AP.

“The U.S. has perpetrated an atrocity at sea, 2,000 miles away from Iran’s shores. Frigate Dena, a guest of India’s Navy carrying almost 130 sailors, was struck in international waters without warning,” Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi wrote on X.

“Mark my words: The U.S. will come to bitterly regret [the] precedent it has set,” he added.

The vessel was carrying about 130 Iranian soldiers.

Sri Lankan authorities said 32 people were rescued; 87 people were pronounced dead, according to the news wire.

Crew members on board were returning from an exercise led by the Indian government. The U.S. also participated in the exercise.

There was also a strike on an Iranian school for girls in the city of Minab.

Iranian officials say both strikes are considered illegal by international standards.

Araghchi wrote in a post on X March 2 that graves are being dug for more than 160 “innocent young girls” who were killed in the US-Israeli bombing of a primary school.

“Their bodies were torn to shreds,” he wrote. “This is how ‘rescue’ promised by Mr. Trump looks in reality.”

“From Gaza to Minab, innocents murdered in cold blood,” he added.
