Jenna Jameson says her life has undergone a complete transformation — from adult film star to a woman devoted to sharing her faith.
According to Fox News, Jameson wrote in an Instagram post saying, “After decades of being known for my body and sin, getting baptized and helping others find Jesus too,” adding that she had “switched sides.”
Her representative said in a statement that “Jenna is being loud and proud about her walk with Jesus Christ. She believes that boldly proclaiming her love for Him is helping open so many people’s eyes to the truth that no one is beyond redemption.”
Jameson, who converted to Judaism in 2015 while engaged to Israeli businessman Lior Bitton, has frequently discussed her spiritual journey and her struggles with faith and sobriety. The pair eventually split years later.
She left Twitter — now known as X — after facing antisemitic remarks and criticism of her sobriety. “My sobriety and faith are the most important things to me. I am being attacked for my faith. Being Jewish,” she wrote at the time. “I must protect my love for G-d above everything. My sobriety and strength stem from him and his grace.”
After years of battling addiction, Jameson celebrated four years sober in 2019.
“4 years. We do recover. We do overcome. We do rebuild,” she shared on Instagram. “But we never forget. We still have scars. They fade. The sun begins to shine and close out the shadows. Trust returns.”
Once one of the most recognizable names in the adult entertainment industry, Jameson later transitioned into mainstream media, appearing in Private Parts and Zombie Strippers and publishing her bestselling memoir How to Make Love Like a Porn Star: A Cautionary Tale.
Now, she says her purpose is clear — to live out her faith and help others find the same redemption she did.
