Former President Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law Lara Trump blasted the media for how they treated Kyle Rittenhouse.
During an interview with Fox News Friday, Lara Trump was asked about remarks Kyle Rittenhouse’s mother made about her son being called a white supremacist.
“She is absolutely broken. You know, her son is on trial for something horrific. This whole situation is terrible. No one would ever want to find their child in a situation like this on either end of this and it’s terrible,” Lara Trump explained.
She continued, “But then to have your child labeled by the current president of the United States as a white supremacist, I mean really? That is very, very extreme. The media, by the way, was happy to push that narrative out there.”
Lara Trump went on to accuse the media of jumping to conclusions about the case and condemning Kyle Rittenhouse.

His mother, Wendy Rittenhouse, was asked about her son’s breakdown on the stand during an interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity Thursday night, as IJR reported.
“I just broke down with Kyle crying like that. It made me feel heartbroken, sad, and I wanted to just go up there and hug him and tell him it would be okay,” she said.
When asked about how it felt for someone to describe her son as a white supremacist, Wendy Rittenhouse replied, “I was in shock. I was angry. President Biden don’t know my son whatsoever. He’s not a white supremacist. He’s not a racist and he did that for the votes. And I was so angry for a while at him and what he did to my son, he defamed him.”
Kyle Rittenhouse is on trial for the fatal shooting that took the lives of two individuals and injured another, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, during the unrest following the police shooting of Jacob Blake in 2020.
