Actor Mike Heslin died July 2 after “an unexpected cardiac event.”
He was 30, per TMZ.
Heslin’s husband, Scotty Dynamo, announced his death on Instagram July 5, Today reported.
“Doctors have no explanation” to the cause of death, Dynamo wrote.
Heslin appeared in the TV series “Lioness.”
Dynamo wrote Heslin died from “an unexpected cardiac event” after a “week long battle in the hospital.”
“Michael was young, in perfect health, and the doctors have no explanation for what happened,” he wrote.
Dynamo and Heslin married Nov. 11, 2023.
Dynamo called his husband “brilliant, selfless, talented and a real-life guardian angel.”
“He single-handedly carried me through multiple rounds of cancer,” said Dynamo, who was diagnosed with testicular cancer in 2020. “He was the first person everyone would call to share good news with, and he was the perfect person to call if they needed a shoulder to lean on or the best advice.”
Dynamo said Heslin was an organ donor and had “given the gift of life to four different families.”
Heslin, a California native, was also a director, producer and writer, according to his website, www.mikeheslin.com.
He graduated from Boston Conservatory at Berklee and co-founded the production house Well-Versed Entertainment.
He acted in various shows, including “Younger,” and “I Love You…But I Lied.”
Most recently, he appeared in two episodes of the Paramount+ series “Special Ops: Lioness” and Lifetime’s “The Holiday Proposal Plan” in 2023.
