After spending more than 100 days in the NICU, Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra’s baby girl is finally home.
On Mother’s Day, the new parents posted the exciting news on their Instagram with a photo of them embracing their baby girl, who they referred to as “MM,” as her face and name have yet to be revealed.
In their statement, they referred to the last few months as a “rollercoaster.”
Jesus Christ tells us in Matthew 17:20, “I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it would move. Nothing would be impossible,” and the couple spoke about “a certain level of faith” that was required during this time in their lives.
“After 100 plus days in the NICU, our little girl is finally home,” the Instagram caption read. “Every family’s journey is unique and requires a certain level of faith, and while ours was a challenging few months, what becomes abundantly clear, in retrospect, is how precious and perfect every moment is.”
In their statement they also expressed their gratitude to the medical personnel “who were there selflessly every step of the way,” and ended saying, “Let’s get it MM! Mommy and Daddy love you.”
In January, the couple, who married in 2018, announced on Instagram that they welcomed a baby via surrogate.
“We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family,” the statement read.
The couple also has plans to expand their family in the future.
“I do want children, as many as I can have,” Chopra said per “Good Morning America.”
Jonas expressed the same sentiment, saying, It’s going to be a beautiful journey, and I hope for many, or whatever that is,” per “Good Morning America.”
