A public memorial for Lisa Marie Presley — the only child of Elvis and Priscilla Presley — will be held in her honor.
The public memorial will be held on Sunday at her childhood home of Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee.
A representative for Lisa Marie Presley’s daughter Riley Keough confirmed the details to People.
“Riley, Harper, Finley, and Priscilla are grateful for the support, well-wishes, and outpouring of love honoring their beloved Lisa Marie. A public memorial service has been arranged on the front lawn of Graceland at 9:00 am on Sunday, January 22 in Memphis,” the representative released in a statement.
Lisa Marie Presley will be buried at the Meditation Garden next to her son, Benjamin Keough, who was 27 when he died by suicide in 2020.
In an interview with CBS’s “The Talk,” Lisa Marie Presley spoke about growing up at Graceland with her father.
“He was not strict at all,” she said.
She added, “He would sleep all day and so I pretty much knew my friends had the run of Graceland. He slept all day and up at night and I knew that no one was gonna tell me what to do because they would get fired.”
In an exclusive interview with “Good Morning America,” Lisa Marie Presley referred to her father as “a very exciting dad.”

“Oh yeah, he’d always wake me up to sing in the middle of the night, get on the table and sing. I remember him as my dad, but he was a very exciting dad,” she told Diane Sawyer.
Lisa Marie Presley died on Jan. 12 after going into cardiac arrest. She was 54 years old.
She was rushed to the hospital after her housekeeper found her unresponsive in her bedroom.
Priscilla Presley confirmed the news of her daughter’s passing in a statement to People.
“It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us. She was the most passionate strong and loving woman I have ever known. We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss,” she said.
