CNN could be making another big move, according to reports.
NewsCycle Media President Jon Nicosia tweeted on Friday, “Source: Once the coming shakeup at [CNN] is done, don’t expect John Berman, Alisyn Camerota, Jim Acosta, Brianna Keilar, Jake Tapper, John King, and Don Lemon to still be at the network OR have their current show assignments.”
He added that the source said, “The final ‘stay or go’ has not been finalized and more names will be added.”

Radar reported that “New Day” will be replaced by a program similar to that of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”
A CNN insider told the outlet, “Chris comes from the same breeding ground as Zucker: morning television.”
The insider added, “He wants to establish a popular morning show that sets the agenda for the network each day. He doesn’t want to change anchors frequently. He wants strength and stability — and believes it all starts in the all-important morning timeslot.”
Additionally, the insider explained, “Expect to see either one main anchor, like Joe, or three like Gayle King has on CBS.”
They will reportedly “be joined by a roster of ‘friends’ who can add to the morning dialogue — beat reporters, commentators, and people in the know.”
The statement from the insider continued, “Everyone knows for a morning show to work, it’s important viewers see the same faces each morning whether they like them or not … Don’t be surprised if a serving Democrat and Republican politician are anointed as regular contributors.”
According to the insider, “This is CNN’s big moment under Chris.”
They claimed that the “race for the White House in 2024 should be ratings gold. Licht needs to get his line-up nailed, and on-air soon. The clock is ticking.”
Last week, CNN announced that “Reliable Sources” host Brian Stelter’s show is being canceled, as IJR reported.
While delivering his final monologue on Sunday, Stelter said, “This show’s going away. But there’s going to be so many more. We need to have room for media criticism and debate and discussion — and we will.”
He added, “So much of the media ecosystem in 2022 is garbage, but so much of it is spectacular. The hard part is sorting out the treasure from the trash.”
