Riley Keough, actress, and daughter of the late Lisa Marie Presley, revealed the name of her baby girl.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, Keough, 34, shared her daughter, whom she welcomed in August 2022 via surrogacy, is named Tupelo Storm Smith-Petersen.
She also revealed the name has a special connection to her late grandfather, rock and roll legend Elvis Presley, who was born in the Mississippi city.
“It’s funny because we picked her name before the ‘Elvis‘ movie,” Keough explained. “I was like, ‘This is great because it’s not really a well-known word or name in relation to my family — it’s not like Memphis or something.’”
She added, “Then when the ‘Elvis’ movie came out, it was like, Tupelo this and Tupelo that. I was like, ‘Oh, no.’ But it’s fine.”

Her daughter’s middle name Storm was in tribute to her late brother, Benjamin, who died by suicide in 2021, according to Vanity Fair. He was 27 years old.
Furthermore, the “Daisy Jones & The Six” star spoke candidly about her decision to choose surrogacy despite having the ability to carry a child.
“I think it’s a very cool, selfless, and incredible act that these women do to help other people. I can carry children, but it felt like the best choice for what I had going on physically with the autoimmune stuff,” she shared.
During her mother’s public memorial service on January 22, Keough announced she welcomed a child with her husband, Ben Smith-Petersen in a moving speech.
“I hope I can love my daughter the way you loved me, the way you loved my brother and my sisters. Thank you for giving me strength, my heart, my empathy, my courage, my sense of humor, my manners, my temper, my wildness, my tenacity,” Petersen read on her behalf.
The speech continued, “I’m a product of your heart, my sisters are a product of your heart, my brother is a product of your heart.”
