Former White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci believes Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden will win the presidential election in a landslide and defeat his former boss, President Donald Trump.
During an appearance on Fox News on Monday, Scaramucci predicted the outcome of the Nov. 3 election, “It’s going to be a landslide” for Biden.
He pointed to the stock market as an indicator that Biden is on track to win, “The market is rallying off a Biden victory. The market recognizes that we have to heal the country.”
“The president has made us weaker, sicker and poorer as a nation, OK, and you’ve got to get the science right on this thing so that we can tamp down the virus and end the number of deaths and mortalities,” he added.

When pressed by host Sandra Smith on his previous support of Trump, Scaramucci said, “I am telling people to vote for the institutions of our democracy. The president had four years. He’s blown the economy. He’s made us sicker. He’s destroy — trying to destroy the western post-World War II alliance.Â
“Look at the four-year track record. There’s a reason why you’re getting the vote. You’ve got 18 to 25 million people in addition to voting this year versus 2016 because of the wreckage that Mr. Trump, President Trump, has caused in our society.”
“When the facts change, Sandra, you change your mind. That’s what really smart people do,” he added.
Smith also asked Scaramucci why he would support Biden — who has vowed to raise taxes on Americans who make more than $400,000 a year.
He said, “You’ve got to heal the country first and make the people better. Once you do that, the economy’s going to boom.”
Specifically, he said Biden would follow the advice of scientists to end the COVID-19 pandemic. “You’re going to have a Coronavirus Task Force. You’re going to use the best practices like they use in South Korea and other nations that have carefully contained the virus. And we were going to — we’re going to shut the virus down and leave the economy open,” he added.
FiveThirtyEight currently predicts Biden has a 29% of winning in a landslide, and an 89% of winning the election.
