“Born in the U.S.A. singer Bruce Springsteen was the target of a post by President Donald Trump, who referred to him as a “total loser.”

The president went on Truth Social Thursday morning when he called for people to boycott his concerts and compared him to a “dried up prune.”

Springsteen recently opened a show criticizing the president and his policies.

“Bad, and very boring singer, Bruce Springsteen, who looks like a dried up prune who has suffered greatly from the work of a really bad plastic surgeon, has long had a horrible and incurable case of Trump Derangement Syndrome, sometimes referred to as TDS,” Trump wrote.

Should fans boycott Bruce Springsteen's concerts in response to Trump's comments?

He continued by bragging about his own 2024 presidential election win.

“The guy is a total loser who spews hate against a President who won a Landslide Election, including the popular vote, all Seven Swing States, and 86% of the Counties across America,” Trump wrote. “Under Sleepy Joe and the Dems, our Country was DEAD, and now we have the ‘tottest’ Country, by far, anywhere in the World. MAGA SHOULD BOYCOTT HIS OVERPRICED CONCERTS, WHICH SUCK. SAVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY.”

Springsteen has been longtime critic of Trump and ranted against the president during a recent performance in Minneapolis. Earlier this year, he released a song called “Streets of Minneapolis,” inspired by the fatal shootings of American citizens Renee Good and Alex Pretti by federal immigration officials in the city of Minneapolis.

“This White House is destroying the American idea and our reputation around the world,” he told the crowd at a Minneapolis concert. “To many, we are no longer looked upon as an often imperfect but strong defender of democracy standing for the global good. We are no longer the land of the free and the home of the brave. We are now, to many, America the reckless, unpredictable, predatory rogue nation. That is this administration’s and this president’s legacy. This is happening now.”
