For weeks, media outlets and Kirk’s widow have pressed the court to stop sealing information without warning.

Kirk said she wants a space where her children and extended family can grieve without fear of harassment or vandalism.

"It shouldn’t be controversial to put our political views aside and extend the grace for a deeply traumatized family to grieve.”

Abbott cast the rapid rise of Club America as evidence of a deeper shift among teens looking for moral clarity and a renewed sense of identity. 

Charlie Kirk had originally been scheduled to appear at the summit before his assassination.
