Left-wing rioters targeted counter-protesters supporting Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations Saturday in Minneapolis, including beating at least one counter-protester and leaving him bleeding.
The violence escalated after an ICE agent shot an illegal immigrant from Venezuela after being ambushed during a targeted” enforcement operation Wednesday, one week after another ICE agent fatally shot Renee Nicole Good during a Jan. 7 immigration enforcement operation. Video taken by Daily Caller News Foundation reporter Jorge Ventura showed anti-ICE rioters attacking a counter-protester with a flagpole.
“This is what you fucking wanted!” one anti-ICE rioter shouted as the counter-protester, who was apparently bleeding from a head wound as he walked away. The video also showed anti-ICE rioters destroying property at a parking garage and continuing to attack the counter-protester, repeatedly striking him in the head.

Should the city increase police presence during protests in response to recent violence in Minneapolis?
WATCH: Anti-ICE and pro-ICE protesters CLASH in downtown Minneapolis.The assaulted protester joined independent journalist Jake Lang for a protest against welfare fraud perpetrated by Somali migrants that federal officials estimated to have cost taxpayers at least $9 billion. The protest was met by rioters attending an event held by the People’s Action Coalition Against Trump, a group funded by left-wing billionaire George Soros, the New York Post reported.
Multiple videos posted to X by independent journalists, including Nick Sortor and Cam Higby, who survived a Monday attack by a mob, showed the anti-ICE rioters targeting attendees of Lang’s event. Sortor and Higby blamed Democratic Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey and Democratic Minnesota Governor Tim Walz for allowing the assaults to occur.
“HEY TIM, YOUR GUARDSMAN ARE HERE. WHY ARE THEY STANDING DOWN?” Higby posted on X. “TIM WALZ AND JACOB FREY NEED TO BE HELD ON TRIAL IMMEDIATELY[!]”
“Minneapolis Police have FINALLY shown up after over an HOUR of rioting in Downtown Minneapolis,” Sortor posted. “Always too little, too late from @MayorFrey[.]”
Another video shot by Ventura showed anti-ICE rioters yelling profanities at law enforcement officers. In addition, a photo showed a masked individual holding what appeared to be an AR-15 pistol while sitting on a Nissan Sentra.
