A three-year-old boy managed to survive two days in the wilderness all on his own.

Ryker Webb was discovered on June 5 by a family who was checking on their cabin in Montana. While on their property, they heard a voice coming from their shed, according to Today.

Webb was reported missing from his home in Troy, Montana, on June 3.

“He was very, very scared,” Lincoln County Sheriff Darren Short said about the rescue. “He had a wide-eyed scared look until he got back to his mom and dad.”

Short said that when he arrived on the scene, Webb was visibly shaken but when he was told that he would be going home to his parents, his “eyes lit up.”

Webb reportedly told Short that he left his family home to go for a walk but grew tired. He was found two miles away from his home.

Check out the post below:

God assures us in Isaiah 41:10, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”

On the evening of Webb’s disappearance, temperatures dropped down to the 40s and there were severe thunderstorms.

Although the harsh weather conditions caused a delay in finding Webb, the rescue and search team members were able to follow a trails of rocks that seemed to have been turned over, which led them in the right direction to find the boy.

“We’re still looking into why he disappeared, and why he wasn’t being watched closely,” Short said.
