The Trump administration has upped the ante by increasing the amount it will pay self-deporting illegal immigrants.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem told Fox News Monday that the check will triple from $1,000 to $3,000.

The administration will also sweeten the deal by paying for flights.

The Department of Homeland Security started offering of $1,000 for illegal immigrants to leave the country instead of facing formal deportation in May.

The increased incentive would ensure they “get home in time for Christmas,” Noem said.

“Illegal aliens should take advantage of this gift and self-deport because if they don’t, we will find them, we will arrest them, and they will not return,” Noem wrote on X.

Watch:

This Christmas season, the U.S. taxpayer is generously TRIPLING the incentive for illegal aliens to leave voluntarily. Through the end of the year, illegal aliens who self-deport using the CBP Home App can receive a $3,000 exit bonus.

There are about 1.9 million illegal immigrants who have left the United States on their own volition, according to DHS. It’s not known how many used the CBP Home app to depart and receive the cash payments in return.

The app makes sure the flight for illegal immigrants are paid by the federal government.

It also allows illegal immigrants to come back to the United States legally.

“If you voluntarily want to go home now to your country, if you’re in the United States of America illegally, we will give you $3,000 through the holidays to send you home,” Noem said.

“If you wait until we interdict you and detain you and arrest you and have to deport you ourselves, you’ll never get the chance to come back,” she continued.

The Trump administration created the CBP Home app.

This was done after the current administration ended the Biden-era CBP One entry program. This program allowed more than one million illegal immigrants into the country.
