President Donald Trump is not backing down from his unsubstantiated widespread voter fraud claims when it comes to the 2020 presidential election.

The president appeared to indicate in his first TV interview since Election Day that his view of the election results will not be changing anytime soon.

Asked about proving his election claims in the “coming weeks,” Trump said during his phone interview with Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo, “I’m going to use 125% of my energy to do it,” adding, “You need a judge that’s willing to hear a case. You need a Supreme Court that’s willing to make a real big decision.”

“It’s not like you’re going to change my mind. In other words, my mind will not change in six months,” Trump continued. “There was tremendous cheating here.”

Several of Trump’s lawsuits in states like Georgia, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Wisconsin, and Michigan have been tossed out.

Trump also suggested during the Fox interview that the FBI and the Department of Justice have been “missing in action” when it comes to investigating his campaign’s allegations of voter fraud.

While Trump has yet to concede the election — several weeks after all the major news outlets projected Joe Biden as the winner — President-elect Biden has pressed forward with building his team. Trump, however, did indicate on Thursday that he “certainly” will leave the White House if Biden wins the Electoral College vote.

Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris will receive their first presidential intelligence briefing on Monday.

The U.S. presidential inauguration is set for Jan. 20, 2021.
