Former President Donald Trump is lashing out after reports indicated there will be no charges brought in the investigation of President Joe Biden’s handling of classified documents.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump wrote, “WOW! FAKE NEWS CNN, THROUGH A LEAK FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF INJUSTICE, HAS JUST REPORTED THAT NO CHARGES WILL BE FILED IN THE (MUCH BIGGER THAN MINE!!!) CROOKED JOE BIDEN DOCUMENTS CASE.”

“WE ARE LIVING IN A VERY CORRUPT COUNTRY!” he added.

Trump also made follow-up posts that read “SELECTIVE PROSECUTION!!!” and “PROSECUTORIAL MISCONDUCT!“

His posts after CNN published a report on the status of Special Counsel Robert Hur’s investigation into Biden’s handling of classified documents.

“Hur and his team are compiling a detailed report on their year-long probe that is expected to be critical of Biden and his staff for the way they handled sensitive materials,” CNN reported.

It added, “The report is expected to go into significant detail about what the special counsel’s office found in its investigation.”

Hur reportedly expects his report to be complete by the end of the year but said the timeline could change.

CNN pointed out there had been previous indications Hur — who was appointed after classified documents were found at several Biden properties — would not bring charges due to the nature of questions being asked and an absence of “discernible grand jury activity.”

The reported decision comes as Trump is facing charges for his alleged mishandling of classified documents as well.

However, those charges came after repeated and failed efforts to retrieve classified documents from the 45th president.
