President Donald Trump hinted on Twitter on Friday he is prepared to take executive action after Democrats and Republicans failed to reach an agreement on the next stimulus package.
Trump claimed Democrats are only interested in one thing and Republicans are not willing to give into their demands.
“Pelosi and Schumer only interested in Bailout Money for poorly run Democrat cities and states. Nothing to do with China Virus! Want one trillion dollars. No interest. We are going a different way!” Trump said.

Trump received strong support from Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows after they announced Friday they are going to recommend the president issue executive orders, as IJR previously reported.
Meadows indicated he was “extremely disappointed” with the way things turned out between both parties.
Mnuchin suggested it is not their first choice to urge Trump to move ahead with executive orders, but people have run out of the enhanced unemployment.
He said they are going to encourage the president to issue executive orders on rental foreclosures as well as student loans.
According to the Constitution, Congress is in control of federal spending. Trump is not legally allowed to issue executive orders to determine how the government should spend money on the coronavirus.
When asked about a proposal put forth by Democrats suggesting Republicans bring their $1 trillion proposal up by another $1 trillion, Mnuchin explained there were both “top-line” issues and “policy” issues.
Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) weighed in on negotiations during their joint press conference on Friday, as IJR previously reported.
According to Pelosi, Democrats have been working “mightily” to come to an agreement with Republicans.
Schumer expressed his frustration with Republicans claiming they do not want to spend the “necessary” money to help Americans.
