Trump Slams Joe Scarborough, Calls His Show 'Poorly Rated Morning Psycho'

President Donald Trump started his day off by taking a swing at MSNBC host Joe Scarborough’s show “Morning Joe.”

“Watched the first 5 minutes of poorly rated Morning Psycho on MSDNC just to see if he is as ‘nuts’ as people are saying. He’s worse,” Trump tweeted early Tuesday.

He added, “Such hatred and contempt! I used to do his show all the time before the 2016 election, then cut him off. Wasn’t worth the effort, his mind is shot!”

Trump followed his first tweet with another ridiculing the media.

“It is amazing that I became President of the United States with such a totally corrupt and dishonest Lamestream Media going after me all day, and all night,” Trump tweeted. “Either I’m really good, far better than the Fake News wants to admit, or they don’t have nearly the power as once thought!”

It was not long after both Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski fired back at Trump live on the show and on Twitter.

Scarborough called on Trump to get back to work to save the American people and provide more testing.

“Donald, thanks for being our most loyal viewer. Now please get to work. Over 40,000 Americans have died from the pandemic,” Scarborough tweeted.

He added, “America has the most gifted scientists, doctors, and technology leaders. Please use them and take charge of testing so we can get America working again!”

Brzezinski accused Trump of failing the American people by refusing to provide testing and allowing the economy to crash, as she said.

“[Donald Trump] since u are watching, can you imagine a president who would allow a pandemic to sweep in on his watch, fail to prepare, tens of thousands die, refuse to do national testing and drive the economy into the ground .. Oh wait…” Brzezinski wrote on the social media outlet.

She also reminded Trump it is his response to the coronavirus outbreak that is the focus of their coverage, not Trump himself.

“We are not interested in you. Promise! Many just want a leader who is not limp in his response to a deadly pandemic.. so often the conversation is ABOUT you [because] it appears you are reason for the slow weak unimpressive response to this pandemic. Sad trombone,” Brzezinski tweeted.

Trump’s criticism of the MSNBC show comes shortly after he slammed Fox News and the network’s host Chris Wallace for having House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on “Fox News Sunday,” as IJR previously reported.
