Former President Donald Trump apparently believes Hunter Biden should have received a harsh punishment instead of a plea deal.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump blasted the prosecutor in Biden’s case as he wrote, “Weiss is a COWARD, a smaller version of Bill Barr, who never had the courage to do what everyone knows should have been done. He gave out a traffic ticket instead of a death sentence.”

“Because of the two Democrat Senators in Delaware, they got to choose and/or approve him. Maybe the judge presiding will have the courage and intellect to break up this cesspool of crime,” he continued.

Finally, Trump added, “The collusion and corruption is beyond description. TWO TIERS OF JUSTICE!”

A court filing from June showed Hunter Biden agreed to plead guilty to two counts of willful failure to pay federal income tax.

He also agreed to plead guilty to one count of possession of a firearm by a person who is an unlawful user of or addicted to a controlled substance.

CNN noted the firearm charge is “diverted,” which she explained means the charge will “go away” if he meets a specific set of conditions.

Hunter Biden’s guilty plea comes after, as reports have indicated, five years of an investigation.

The Wall Street Journal noted the guilty plea will avoid a trial as his father is running for re-election.

Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss has insisted he was told he could bring charges against Hunter Biden anywhere in the country.

He also shot down claims from an IRS whistleblower that was blocked by the Justice Department from bringing charges.
