Fox News host Tucker Carlson mocked actress Jennifer Lawrence after she revealed she has nightmares about him.
During an interview with Vogue, Lawrence shared her opinions on politics and fears when it comes to Carlson, as IJR reported.
Lawrence told the publication that she has spoken with her therapist about nightmares she has involving the Fox News host.
Carlson took time during his show Tuesday night to address the comment.
“When you work in television, you lose control of a lot of things,” Carlson said.
He then asked, “So can it really be your fault, are you really responsible if major Hollywood starlets dream about you? Maybe it’s the sexy glasses. Who knows? We can only speculate.”
Fox News anchor Trace Gallagher chimed in, saying, “Just so you get the total dichotomy of this, Tucker, it’s important to note that while Jennifer Lawrence sees you in her head at night, you know, the nightmares when she sleeps, she is likely not watching you now.”
He suggested her parents are “probably watching because they’re fans.”
Gallagher went on to mention remarks Lawrence made during her Vogue interview about how the 2016 election caused a rift in her family.

He suggested that Lawrence’s nightmares about Carlson began following a 2017 segment.
Gallagher noted, during this segment, Carlson said Lawrence suffered from “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”
Additionally, Gallagher pointed out that Carlson’s suggestion came at the same time during which media outlets claimed Lawrence blamed the former president for a series of hurricanes.
After Trump was elected, Lawrence said in an interview, “It’s really hard … not to feel mother nature’s rage and wrath.”
Carlson responded, saying, “So she says she has nightmares about us, that’s what they’re calling it. Nightmares.”
He added, “We’re flattered. I think it’s the sexy glasses.”
