Celebrity Chef Gordon Ramsay is making headlines after a video of him appearing to choose a lamb to slaughter went viral.
In a video posted to Ramsay’s TikTok, he is seen climbing into a pen full of lamb.
He proceeded to say, “I’m going to eat you.”
Ramsay then rubbed his hands together, repeatedly adding, “Yummy.”
He asked, “Which one’s going in the oven first?”
The chef pointed to a lamb and said, “You!”

Ramsay received backlash in the comments section of his video.
“I was today years old when I lost all respect for Gordon Ramsay,” one user wrote.
Another added, “Those beautiful little babies , what people will do for views. It’s a sad world we live in.”
One user told Ramsay to “not be so cruel! Leave them alone!”
He captioned the video, “The Lamb sauce was still not found in the making of this video…..”
Insider noted the caption is referencing a scene from his show “Hell’s Kitchen” in 2006 where he yells at contestants asking them where the lamb sauce is.
The outlet reported that Ramsay later clarified, “No animals were cooked in the making of this video.”
PETA UK Vice President Elisa Allen issued a statement to Insider reacting to the video.
“Gordon Ramsay is a callous man who makes a fool of himself,” Allen said.
She added, “Intimidating gentle lambs is loutish, not amusing.”
Allen suggested what would be funny is “if his children went vegan and disowned him — much in the way Elon Musk’s daughter disowned her father.”
The statement continues, “Those lambs are just babies who want little from life but the chance to live it and not end up in this moron’s — or anyone else’s — mouth.”
