“The View” co-host Sunny Hostin revealed why she has not taken a trip to the grocery store in years.
During an episode of the show on Wednesday, Hostin said, “I haven’t been in a supermarket since COVID — for about three years. That’s when I discovered Instacart. I give them a big tip because they don’t always pay their people well and it’s — so that’s been an issue, I think, for the company.”
She added, “But man, you can get toiletries, you can get fire logs, you know those big Bounty towels you don’t want to carry? Somebody else goes.”
Additionally, during the show, co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin asked Joy Behar if she ever gets stopped by people who recognize her at the grocery store.
According to Behar, she only gets stopped by Trump supporters.
“I talk to them. I say, ‘Why exactly do you like him?’ I’m interested to know why they like him. And then they give me Fox News and then I walk away and go shopping. But I like to engage people who disagree with me,” Behar explained.
Co-host Whoopi Goldberg added, “These are the days of our lives …”

In January 2022, the show announced upon its return from winter break that Hostin and Goldberg had tested positive for COVID-19.
“Whoopi, unfortunately, tested positive over the break,” Behar said at the time.
She added, “Since she’s vaxxed and boosted, her symptoms have been very, very mild.”
Behar shared the talk show was “being super cautious” about the uptick in COVID-19 cases.
In September 2021, just before Vice President Kamala Harris was set to appear on the show, Hostin and Ana Navarro left the set after testing positive for the virus.
“And I got to say, [Harris’] team rolled with it. You know, it was crazy. She ended up doing the interview from that room via remote in her ears while we were locked up in our dressing rooms waiting for the test results that we took. So we took rapid antigen test and we took a PCR,” Navarro said at the time.
She added, “Both have come back false positive for me. I can’t speak for Sunny. It’s her privacy. It’s up to her to talk about her test results.”
