President Joe Biden is being warned against following suggestions he should drop Vice President Kamala Harris from the ticket.
On Thursday, co-host Sunny Hostin noted in the last five elections where the Democratic candidate won the election, Black voters were an important bloc.
“Ninety-one percent of African Americans voted for Biden and will continue to vote for Biden if Kamala is his running mate,” she said.
Hostin warned, “I would be very careful, President Biden, about getting rid of Kamala Harris because we will not support you.”
Her comment comes after a column in The Washington Post suggested the president should consider dropping Harris from the ticket due to her low approval ratings.

The co-hosts then debated whether the prospect of Biden ditching Harris is realistic. Then Sara Haines chimed to asked Hostin, “You wouldn’t support Donald Trump… if it was Biden and Trump…”
“If Biden gets rid of Kamala Harris and inserts someone else, he will lose the Black vote,” Hostin responded.
When asked if she believed that would be the case even if Harris was replaced with another Black woman, she shot back, “We’re not interchangeable.”
Joy Behar interjected, “I don’t want to white-splain, but you might be underestimating the Black community voter.”
However, Hostin insisted, “I don’t think I am.”
