Co-host of “The View,” Whoopi Goldberg, is not holding back with her criticism of President Donald Trump’s handling of the COVID-19 pandemic.

During the show on Thursday, Goldberg slammed Trump for focusing on the election rather than saving the lives of Americans.

“He lost this election, and because he lost, all those people who now have the virus who don’t make it from now until January 20th, this blood is on his hands, because this isn’t like he’s sitting around thinking ‘how can I help?’ He’s sitting around doing nothing,” Goldberg said.

She added, “He’s doing nothing, and he knows what he needs to do, and he’s not doing it, and neither are these Republicans. I don’t know when America turned into this particular version of America, but I got to tell you, I don’t like it.”

She claimed, “I’ve never seen a president that didn’t care whether people lived or died.”

On Wednesday, the death toll in the United States reached more than 250,000 people.

Emily Murphy, the administrator of the General Services Administration, is facing pressure to acknowledge President-elect Joe Biden as the winner of the election as Trump continues to refuse to concede, as IJR previously reported.

Biden made it clear during a virtual event Wednesday, his inability to access information will make it more difficult to combat the coronavirus, as IJR previously reported.

“There’s a whole lot of things that… we just don’t have available to us,” Biden said.

He continued, “Which unless is made available soon, we’re going to be behind by weeks or months being able to put together the whole initiative relating to the biggest promise we have with two drug companies coming along and finding 95% effectiveness, efficiency in the vaccines, which is enormous promise.”
