Digital Realty Opens 6.4MW Nairobi Data Center

Digital Realty opened Nairobi Two Data Center (NBO2), a 6.4 MW facility that expands the Nairobi campus and, with iColo transitioning to the Digital Realty brand in Kenya and Mozambique, strengthens interconnection to 100+ networks, two internet exchange points, and a satellite teleport to support data sovereignty and global access. The move, alongside the acquisition of iColo, underscores Digital Realty’s push to grow East Africa’s cloud and digital economy and has drawn notable investor attention to the Nairobi expansion.
