En la mitología griega, el Labyrinth es una estructura elaborada y confusa diseñada y construida por el artificiero mitológico Daedalus para el rey Minos de Crete en Knossos. Su función era contener al Minotaur, el monstruo finalmente asesinado por el héroe Theseus. Daedalus había hecho el Labyrinth de manera tan astuta que apenas pudo escapar de él después de construirlo.
