Paser es un dialecto austronesio de, o un idioma estrechamente relacionado con Lawangan, tradicionalmente hablado por el pueblo paser, que es culturalmente distinto de otros dayaks. La mayoría de los hablantes residen en las regencias actuales de Paser y Penajam North Paser de Kalimantan Oriental, pero un pequeño número de ellos se encuentran en Balikpapan y Kotabaru.
