Shell to take full ownership of Tri Star Energy, adding 320 sites

Shell will acquire the remaining stake in Tri Star Energy, increasing its ownership to 100% from 33% and adding 320 company-owned fuel and convenience sites plus supply agreements with 552 dealer-owned locations in Tennessee and surrounding states, with completion expected by the end of 2026 pending regulatory approvals. Tri Star operates multiple convenience-store brands and supplies wholesale fuel, expanding Shell’s foothold in the southern U.S. retail network.
