The majority of voters approve of President Donald Trump’s leadership during his second term, according to a survey released Monday.

Of those surveyed, 52% said they approve of Trump’s job performance, while only 46% said they disapprove, according to Rasmussen Reports’ “Presidential Tracking” poll. Notably, the survey comes as Trump has executed his sweeping agenda at breakneck speed, introducing more than 90 executive orders in just over two months.

Relatedly, 38% of voters said they “strongly approve” of the job Trump is doing, while 38% said they “strongly disapprove,” according to the poll.

Despite several reports claiming that some Trump voters regret their choice following the president’s wide-ranging executive actions, several recent polls which show that many Americans largely approve of Trump’s job performance thus far in his second term.

A string of recent polling further shows that Democratic Party has an uphill battle to win back support, as the majority of Americans view the party’s leadership unfavorably. The party received just a 29% favorability rating, marking a new record low, according to a CNN poll conducted by SSRS released March 16.

The Democratic Party has also struggled to communicate a unifying message to voters following Trump’s presidential election victory. Democratic National Committee chairman Ken Martin said in a Feb. 18 memo that the Democratic Party is now often viewed as the “party of elites.”

Still, Democrats have been attempting to shore up support among Americans, with several prominent national Democratic committees and left-wing lawmakers launching nationwide town hall tours in March, including Democratic Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, former Vice President Kamala Harris’ running mate in the 2024 election, who is currently hosting town halls across the U.S. primarily targeting red districts.

Rasmussen Reports’ daily tracking results are collected via telephone surveys of 300 likely voters per night and reported on a five-day rolling average basis. The margin of sampling error for the full sample of 1,500 likely voters is plus or minus 2.5 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence

The CNN survey was conducted March 6-9, with a sample size of 1,206 respondents. The margin of sampling error for total respondents is plus or minus 3.3 at the 95% confidence level.
