Actor Terry Crews has stepped back into his “Idiocracy” role as President Camacho to put a spin on spreading colon cancer prevention awareness.

He posted the video to his YouTube channel Tuesday. It jokes that “America’s future president has traveled back in time for a life-saving public service announcement.”

Crews then enters a doctor’s office as President Dwayne Elizando Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho to get screened for colon cancer.

The doctor explains how colon cancer develops and displays a picture of an anthropomorphic colon flexing its muscles.

He notes that colon cancer “does affect black men more than it affects other men.”

Through puns and a bit of toilet humor, the video displays a hilarious picture of how and why colon cancer screenings can help save lives.

“President Camacho” is shown going in for his colonoscopy and waking up after the procedure. He then raises a bottle of apple juice and toasts the few polyps that were removed.

Crews agreed to do the video for the Colorectal Cancer Alliance Lead From Behind initiative. This is a non-profit created with actor Ryan Ryenolds’ Maximum Effort creative agency.

According to People Magazine, Reynolds discussed the decision to make the video based on filming and sharing his own colonoscopy.

He said, “The impact was so great that apparently, the President of the United States in the 25th century heard about it. We applaud President Camacho for his bravery – and also idiocy.

“And we’re indebted to Super Serious and Mike Judge for their help towards the cause of eradicating colon cancer,” he added.

Crews also opened up about reprising his role as President Camacho, stating, “I’ve partnered with the Colorectal Cancer Alliance and Lead From Behind because together we can prevent unnecessary suffering from preventable cancer.”

He went on, “The outrageous persona of President Camacho demands the attention this cause deserves. Reprising this role felt like the perfect way to continue to raise awareness and encourage people to get screened.”
