The planners of the Democratic National Convention (DNC) are taking as President Joe Biden‘s speech was delayed by over an hour.

Biden was supposed to speak during the prime time hour.

However, it became clear the DNC was running over an hour behind schedule.

At roughly 11:15 p.m., First Lady Jill Biden began her speech, which meant Joe Biden was not likely to take the stage until close to midnight.

Several users blasted the DNC planners for bumping the sitting President of the United States so late after he made history by deciding to end his re-election bid and endorse Vice President Kamala Harris to take his place:

If you want to know what Democrats think of Joe Biden, just look at your watch right now and realize how late it will be when he finally speaks.

— Scott Jennings (@ScottJenningsKY) August 20, 2024

They took the nomination away from him and now booted him out of prime time.

I’m tapping out – I can’t stay up this late, we all have lives and kids. God speed to our 81 year old President getting through the speech at this hour.

Whatever producers did this to him and let it go over this long at this hour is an asshole and it is disrespectful to Biden.

— Meghan McCain (@MeghanMcCain) August 20, 2024

So, did Dems purposefully push Biden's speech back past 11 PM so no one would watch?

I mean, I think this is all just bad planning and incompetence. But…you never know.
