Idaho's $20.8 million wildlife underpass nears fall completion after years of planning — 1dCrews are close to finishing the Rocky Point Wildlife Underpass on U.S. Highway 30 in southeast Idaho, a three-underpass crossing with fencing designed to steer deer and other wildlife away from traffic. The effort, a collaboration among state agencies, conservation groups and Bear Lake County, is backed by a $20.8 million grant to improve driver safety and wildlife connectivity.
