WHP Global and G-III finalize $925 million deal for Marc Jacobs — 1dWHP Global and G-III Apparel Group have completed the acquisition of Marc Jacobs from LVMH for about $925 million, forming a 50/50 joint venture that co-owns the brand’s IP, with WHP leading licensing and G-III running wholesale, retail and e-commerce, while Marc Jacobs remains founder and creative director. The deal ends LVMH’s nearly three-decade ownership and sets the stage for global expansion and new licenses under a shared management model.
