Navitas and GlobalFoundries are launching first shipments of U.S.-made Gen 5 GaNFast power devices this September, marking a milestone in strengthening the domestic GaN supply chain for AI infrastructure, high-performance computing, and critical national security. The long-term strategic partnership, formed in November 2025, enables production at GF’s Burlington, Vermont facility on a 200 mm GaN-on-Si platform, building on Navitas’ Gen 5 technology and 300+ GaN/SiC patents.

Good to see actual domestic capacity for GaN instead of just announcements. Burlington plant putting real chips out matters more than press releases.
